A clear view on legal issues
On June 5 DG HOME (DG Migration and Home Affairs) hosted the 11TH MEETING OF THE COMMUNITY OF USERS ON SECURE, SAFE AND RESILIENT SOCIETIES. The meeting was held over 3 full days and attended by a wide audience, including from the public sector, industry, and academia. The Community of Users was set up to create synergies among different stakeholders (policy-makers, researchers, industry/SMEs, field practitioners) by promoting research results, identifying promising tools, enhancing market opportunities for research results, and ensuring practitioner expertise is available to policy-makers.
Dr. Anne Rainville from Corvers' sistercompany Vtrek presented in the THEME 8 – INFORMATION EXCHANGE AND INTEROPERABILITY. The presentation covered emerging conceptual research being conducted together with Dr. John Selby and Dr. Andreas Tolk at MITRE. MITRE is a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centres sponsored by the federal government, chartered to work solely in the public interest. Its centres are unique organizations that assist the United States government with: Scientific research and analysis, Development and acquisition, and Systems engineering and integration.
