Following the new possibilities regarding the procurement of innovative products and services created by the new EU framework program Horizon 2020, ZENIT and Corvers have decided to join forces to change the procurement practice. They aim to combine efforts and expertise in order to support contracting authorities to come to an effective implementation of pre-commercial procurements (PCPs) and procurements of innovation (PPIs).
The Procurement of Innovation Platform's "Experience exchange programme" has the goal of spreading knowledge and know-how on PPI and PCP between the advanced public procurers and public authorities trying to expand their horizon on this issue.
