NEW! Extended deadline and wider focus eafip-call to apply free assistance on innovation procurement

Due to the situation regarding COVID-19 the European Assistance for Innovation Procurement (eafip) initiative decided to extend the deadline of the call for applications to receive free assistance on innovation procurement to 31 May 2020.

Furthermore the EAFIP initiative widens the focus of the call and also welcomes project applications on ICT solutions aimed to tackle COVID-19 or similar crises through innovation procurement.
Don’t miss the extended deadline for the call for assistance that is open now until 31 May 2020.

About EAFIP
The European Assistance for Innovation Procurement is an initiative financed by the European Commission for providing local assistance to public procurers for starting new innovation procurement and for promoting good practices and reinforcing the evidence base on completed innovation procurements.

EAFIP is implemented by a consortium of experts led by Corvers that was awarded the EAFIP public procurement contract for 2019-2020 by DG CNECT. EAFIP provides free of charge technical and legal assistance to public procurers across all EU Member States in the preparation and implementation of innovation procurements of ICT based solutions.

The 1st 2020 call for applications is now open. All innovation procurement projects can be eligible under Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) or Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions (PPI). These may include Green deal projects; projects on Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity; and projects under national digital/ICT strategies. At least 3 new innovation procurements of ICT based solutions will be selected to benefit from technical and/or legal local assistance.
